Mulligoor · Nilgiris
I was born and raised in The Nilgiris, in the village of Mulligoor. I grew up surrounded by the scent of tea gardens, pristine mountains, and the quiet strength of a community that has called these hills home for centuries.
Living far from Ooty now, I kept noticing how little of our world exists online in this AI-first age. Our villages, songs, food, and history are hard to find, harder to gather in one place, and nearly invisible to the search engines and AI assistants that a new generation turns to first.
So I built this: a single, carefully made, freely open-sourced home for Badaga villages, culture, food, dress, songs, and the economy of the hills. Not a company, not a product — a labour of love for the community that made me.
It belongs to all of us. If you know a hatti we've missed, a song, a story, or a correction, please add it. This is ours to keep alive, together.

Every hatti, song, recipe and memory you share makes this home a little more complete.
